MY JOURNEY

SO FAR

My journey hasn’t always been easy. My childhood was full of change; multiple moves, new schools, new friends, and constantly finding my footing as my parents divorced and remarried. By the time I graduated high school, I felt lost, unsure of who I was or where I belonged.

Then I discovered CrossFit in 2010, and it changed my life.

I fell in love with the sport and the strength it gave me, both physically and mentally. What started as a workout became a path into the health and fitness industry, and eventually, a defining part of my identity. Throughout my CrossFit career, I unknowingly built these "daily flows."  Simple, real-life habits and routines around movement, nutrition, recovery, and mindset that helped ground me and gave my days structure.

Those daily flows are something that has stayed with me ever since. They’ve changed and adapted as my body, goals, and life have evolved, but they’ve never disappeared. That understanding became one of the foundations behind The Longevity Practice: building habits that actually stick, without rigidity, perfection, or extremes.

My daily flows have become non-negotiables for my mental health. I’ve struggled with depression and seasonal depression on and off since I was 13 years old. These foundational habits, the four pillars behind The Longevity Practice, are what keep me grounded during the harder seasons.

The four pillars don’t fix everything, but they support me in staying grounded, listening to my body, and continuing forward during harder seasons.

While competing, I struggled with body image. The muscle I built came with comments and judgment. When I stopped competing, I believed I’d return to my “ideal” body. That didn’t happen. Instead, I entered a new season of life.  One that forced me to let go of an old identity and get honest about who I was becoming.

Being real has always mattered to me.

I never wanted to pretend that strength meant having it all together or that health looked one specific way. I’ve always believed that growth happens when we’re honest about the messy parts, the setbacks, and the in-between seasons.

In 2018, my life shifted again when I was overadjusted by a chiropractor, leaving me with a lifelong injury. It completely changed how I move, train, and care for my body. While it was devastating at the time, it became one of my greatest teachers.  Reminding me that strength can come from listening to your body, adapting, and showing yourself compassion.

I’m far from perfect.

I developed traits in my younger years that didn’t serve me, and I’ve worked hard to unlearn them and create a life that feels aligned and fulfilling.

I love chasing big, audacious dreams (some might call them delusional), because I believe we’re meant to dream boldly.

I’ve been in the health and fitness industry for over 15 years, and I’m still a work in progress. I always will be.

I’m someone who understands what it feels like to be uncomfortable in your body, to outgrow old identities, and to want something sustainable for longevity.

My passion is helping people feel good in their bodies, build habits that support longevity, and create daily flows that are flexible, supportive, and rooted in real life.

No matter what season you’re in, I’m here to support you.
